Ponto and our sister Think Tanks joined forces to organize workshops together with the European Forum Alpbach 2020 in Zürich, Berlin, and Vienna as part of the project “Re:think Alliances,” which is supported by Stiftung Mercator and Mercator Foundation Switzerland. The aim of the workshops was to ideate and develop future scenarios on “How can digital technologies strengthen our democracies?”. We focused on social cohesion and were honoured to welcome Dr. Lukas Schlögl from the University of Vienna and Mag. Leopold Schmertzing from the European Parliamentary Research Service as input givers and participants of the workshop.
